Free "Writing for Radio" Class and "Talk Show Round Table" offered at KMUD, Sat. Sept. 22

On Sept. 22 at the KMUD Studio in Redway, Terri Klemetson, KMUD News Coordinator, will be teaching a class on "Writing For Radio." Beginning at 11 am, this 1 1/2 hour, free class is open to anyone and will cover script writing for radio, stressing the art of creating clear and direct audio content. Following this class Terri will facilitate a round table discussion focusing on Radio Talk Shows.

These offerings are part of a series of training classes announced by KMUD Program Director, Marianne Knorzer, and will be held on the 4th Saturday of each month. These free classes are open to anyone and will cover a diverse set of topics related to radio including: Engineering Techniques, Live Music Set-Up, Studio use of Computers, Sound Recording and Editing, Optimizing Sound Quality, Live Remotes, Improving Vocal Presentation, Using Social Networking Media and more.
