The County Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet for the June 3, 2014 election has been mailed to registered voters in Humboldt County. If you did not get your sample ballot, or need another copy, you can download polling place information and the sample ballot here. May 19 is the last day to register for this election. To register online you will need:
- Your California driver license or California identification card number
- The last four digits of your social security number and Your date of birth.
In addition to voting for Governor and Lt. Governor, there are ten other State Offices on the ballot. Two statewide measures, the Southern Humboldt Unified School District Bond Measure and seven county offices are also on the ballot, including the Office of District Attorney which lists four candidates - click here for the KMUD News post on the District Attorney candidates. Note: CLMP will sponsor a DA candidate debate on Mon., May 5 at the Veterans Hall in Garberville. The doors will open at 6:30 pm and the debate will run from 7 until 9 pm. KMUD will air this debate.
