Assistant News Director 

Want to be part of creating the news? KMUD News is looking for a new Assistant News Director to help create our nightly news broadcasts and public affairs content. This position is a hybrid position requiring weekly in person work at our studios in Redway. The Assistant Director will double both as a reporter creating their own stories while assisting the News Director with running the department. Department tasks include emails, story leads, working with our team of freelancers, and being part of the KMUD Emergency Response Team. This is a highly versatile role, and will likely grow over time.

32 Hour Position (opportunity to expand)

Pay Scale: $18-$22 per hour
