The photos below were taken as part of a scan done by the Humboldt Bay Coast Guard Air Station air crew. Images show the Crescent City area shorelines noting damage to docks and piers Friday, March 11, 2011. Northern California Coast Guard response crews were assessing and responding to impacts to area shorelines as a result of the West Coast tsunami caused by an 8.9 earthquake that struck Japan, Thursday.
