According to a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, dated Jan 1, 2012:
On 1-31-2012, approximately 7:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office Community Response Unit served a Humboldt County Superior Court Search Warrant after receiving citizen complaints about drug activity at a residence in the 3100 block of Greybrook Lane, Hydesville, which was near a daycare center. When the warrant was served the deputies located 113 growing marijuana plants, approximately 33 pounds of processed marijuana packaged for sale, a scale, a rifle, a handgun and $3,800.00 in cash. Deputies also located items consistent with the manufacturing of Hash, including 141 empty butane bottles.
Deputies arrested Thomas Dennis Miranda, 58 years old, Sarah Rachel Miranda, 31 years old and Matthew Gary Caston, 31 years old. They were all booked into the Humboldt County Correctional facility on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. Their bail is set at $500,000.
