The planning for the Baker Creek Stream Restoration Project - a Joint project between the Bureau of Land Management and Sanctuary Forest- began well over a year ago. The project, on public lands southeast of Whitethorn, is designed to improve fish habitat and contribute to the recovery of Coho Salmon in Baker Creek, a tributary to the Mattole River in Humboldt County.
