A meeting to discuss the future of the Southern Humboldt Community Park was held at the Mateel Community Center in Redway on February 24, 2009. It was attended by about 200 people, most speaking in support of rezoning the park from Agricultural zoning to Recreational.

KMUD News reporter Cynthia Elkins attended the meeting and recorded the statements. As a public service we make the recording available in two parts. You can listen online or download the file to your computer. If you would rather receive a recording on two CD's (in higher audio quality) you may purchase the set for $15, shipping included. Call KMUD at (707) 923-2513.
