"Jumping" Jim Sewell during his show Train Ride on November 14, 2017

"Jumping Jim" Sewell doing his classic rock show "Train Ride" on November 14, 2017.

Jim had been with KMUD since the beginning, and he was also on KERG during its short existence a few years before. Jim was a kind man, he would come in at least half an hour before showtime and talk to staff and volunteers to find out "what's up" at KMUD. He reluctantly gave up his show a few months ago due to illness. His body left this earth on July 16, but his spirit will live on at KMUD.
There will be a memorial for Jim on Tuesday, August 20, starting at 4 pm at the Healy Senior Center in Redway. Tri-tip by Barbecue to You, please bring a side dish.
